Piwniczka means "little cellar" in Polish. It is a personal collection of homemade liqueurs, nalewki and bitters, each written up with a shopping list, a guide to its botanicals and a step-by-step method, so that a good batch can be made again.
Every recipe is a starting point rather than a fixed formula. Fruit, honey and herbs vary from year to year, so each one explains what to taste for and how to adjust it.
